Following our most recent inspection, we are delighted to announce Clapham Montessori has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted – February 2024.

We welcome children from 2 ½ until 6 years old.
Clapham Park Montessori occupies the upstairs rooms at the Contact Centre, just off Abbeville Road (above our Montessori Infant Community). Our bright, cosy and self-contained space is ideal for a Children’s House.
We have access to an outdoor area as well as to the large hall downstairs, at certain times of the day, which offer many opportunities for exploration as well as for physical activities and play.
Our experienced team shares a love of working with children and a commitment to offering authentic Montessori education.

At Clapham Park Montessori we welcome children from 2 ½ years old. The Montessori curriculum supports their development until they leave to join their Reception or Yr 1 classes, or up until the age of 6.
Our regular sessions run between 9:15 and 3:45. Extended hours are also offered. Please see our session times.
Morning session – 9:15 to 12:15
Morning and lunch – 9:15 to 1:45
Full day session – 9:15 to 3:45
Afternoon only session – 12:45 – 3:45 (includes lunchtime)
Extended hours:
Early Birds: Monday to Friday 8:15 to 9:15
Wise Owls: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – 3:45 – 5:00
Extra classes:
Monday: Music
Tuesday: Drama
Wednesday: French
Friday: Yoga
All from 12:15 to 12:45
NB – Extended hours and extra classes are not included in Government funded hours

Yes, we accept the 15-hour universal offer, and other funding schemes for eligible families, including working parents’ entitlement for 2-year-olds and 30-hour funding for 3 and 4-year-olds.
*We also offer a limited number of funded-only places for families in receipt of government support.

We offer healthy snacks and drinks, including fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and water, throughout the day.
Children who stay for lunch bring their own packed lunch.
